What specialisms are on offer?
If you want to study science in the UK, you can learn traditional science subjects – biology, chemistry, or physics. Chemistry-related specialisms range from biochemistry and forensic science to pharmacology. Physics-based degrees offer specialisms in chemical physics, astrophysics, and mathematical physics.
How long does it take to graduate?
Most UK science and technology undergraduate degrees take around three years, with part-time options also available. A postgraduate qualification usually takes between one and two years of full-time study. Many universities also offer four-year undergraduate degrees with a one-year industry placement or internship with one of their partners included.
